How it works

Three steps, no phone tag.

From a sentence to a finished job, with the price known before anyone shows up.

  1. Step 1

    Describe it

Type what needs doing, add photos if it helps. TASX reads the description and works out the category and a fair price range from real rates. The model observes; the code prices.

  2. Step 2

    Pick who comes

Verified taskers nearby send offers with a price and an arrival time. Choose one. Your card is held, not charged.

  3. Step 3

    Track it, then pay

Follow your tasker on the map from en route to done. Confirm completion and the payment releases. Receipt in your inbox.

What people book

Forty-eight categories, one input.

You never have to pick one. Describe the job and TASX routes it. These are the categories taskers work in.

For taskers

Your pay, your rating, your rights. In writing.

Ontario's Digital Platform Workers' Rights Act says platforms must tell you how pay works and give a written reason before removing access. TASX was built to that standard, not around it.

  • Pay transparency

You see the price, the fee and your payout before you accept. Every completed job comes with an itemised summary.

  • Tips are yours

Customers tip after the job, never as a condition of it. TASX does not take a cut of tips.

  • A written reason, first

Access is never removed without a written reason, except where someone’s safety requires acting immediately, and then the reason follows.

  • Your rating is only your rating

It is the average of the stars customers leave after completed jobs. Nothing else feeds it.

Feed, accept, job, earnings.

Go online, see open tasks near you with the estimate attached, send an offer, do the work, get paid out through Stripe to your bank account.

For business

One account for the whole team. One invoice.

Property managers, restaurants, offices and landlords post under a business account at a lower fee, with team members and monthly invoicing.

  • 12% service fee

instead of 15% for personal accounts

  • Team members

post under the business; you see every job

  • Monthly invoicing

available on approval, with net-30 terms

Trust and safety

Built so both sides can relax.

Verification, held payments and written reasons. The same rules for every customer and every tasker.

  • Phone-verified accounts

Everyone confirms a phone number before booking or working.

  • Identity checks for taskers

Taskers complete identity verification before they can earn.

  • Licences checked where the law requires

Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, towing, childcare and other gated categories need the licence Ontario requires.

  • Payment held until done

Money is held when a job starts and released when the work is confirmed complete.

  • Written reasons

No account loses access without a written reason first. Disputes are read by a person.

  • PIPEDA privacy

We do not sell personal information or share it with advertisers.
